Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions as on January 01, 2026, to apply for the RBI Office Attendant posts:

I. Nationality

A candidate must be either:

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: Candidates from categories ii, iii, iv, and v must possess an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

II. Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/01/2001 and not later than 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive).

• Candidates must have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from a recognized Board/Institution.
• The qualification should be from a Board/Institution falling under the regional jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which the candidate is applying.
• Candidates must be an undergraduate as on 01/01/2026.
• Important Note: Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualifications are NOT eligible to apply for this recruitment.
• Candidates must be proficient in the official/local language of the State/UT corresponding to the recruiting office (ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language).

Selection Process

The selection for the Office Attendant post in RBI will be conducted through a multi-stage process to identify the most suitable candidates:

1. Online Test (Objective Type):

   This will be a computer-based test comprising the following sections:
