Age Limit 🎂

• Applicants must be between 21 to 27 years of age as on 01 July 2026.

2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 5-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at designated centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar). The SSB interview is a two-stage selection process. Those who clear Stage I proceed to Stage II.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure they meet the prescribed medical standards of the Indian Army.
4. Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the SSB interview. In case of a tie in SSB marks, older candidates will be ranked higher. If both SSB marks and age are the same, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination will be placed higher.
5. Pre-Commission Training: Medically fit candidates, who feature in the merit list within the stipulated vacancies, will receive joining letters for Pre-Commission Training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
