BPSSC Adhinayak Lipik Selection Process
The selection methodology for the Adhinayak Lipik position involves a structured two-stage examination process, followed by merit list finalization:
-
Written Competitive Examination:
- This initial stage consists of an objective-type examination with 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, for a total of 100 marks. The exam will be 2 hours long and cover subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs, conforming to the 10th-grade curriculum.
- Candidates are required to score a minimum of 30% to qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It's crucial to understand that the written test is merely a qualifying hurdle; its marks will not contribute to the final merit list. Approximately five times the number of declared vacancies, categorized accordingly, will proceed to the PET based on their performance in this examination.
-
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- The PET holds a total of 100 marks and is comprised of three distinct events: Race (50 marks), Shot Put (25 marks), and High Jump (25 marks). Detailed criteria for each event, including distances/heights and corresponding marks, are provided in the official notification.
- Failure to achieve the minimum qualifying standards in any one of the PET events will result in immediate disqualification from the entire recruitment process. Transgender candidates will be subject to physical standards and PET criteria equivalent to those applicable to Backward Class candidates.
-
Merit List:
- The ultimate merit list for appointment will be exclusively based on the total marks secured by candidates in the Physical Efficiency Test (Race, Shot Put, High Jump).
- In scenarios where two or more candidates obtain identical PET scores, preference for placement in the merit list will be given to the older candidate. If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate with higher marks in the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination will be given priority. Should a tie persist, the alphabetical order of names (as per the 10th-grade certificate) will be used to break it.
Application Fee
All eligible applicants, irrespective of gender or category, are required to submit an application fee of INR 100/- (One Hundred Rupees Only). This fee is payable online through various digital payment modes. Please note that bank charges for online transactions will be borne by the applicant.
